Hongdong Li

Hongdong Li is a Professor in the School of Computing at The Australian National University. His research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Robotics & AI, with a focus on 3D visual perception, robot navigation, autonomous driving, and AI. He is a founding Chief Investigator for the Australia ARC Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision and a faculty member of the Computer Vision and Robotics group at ANU. Li was a visiting professor at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University from 2017 to 2018. He has contributed to the ARC-funded Australia’s Bionic Eye initiative and has held roles at NICTA and RSISE. He is an Area Chair for ICCV 2021 and CVPR 2021, and serves on the Editorial Board of several journals.
