Regular biography
Federico Capasso is a Professor of Applied Physics and Vinton Hayes Senior Research Fellow in Electrical Engineering at Harvard University's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on applied physics, photonics, and electrical engineering. Capasso serves as the Director of Graduate Studies (spring) in Applied Physics and is affiliated with the Capasso Group. His work includes advancements in optoelectronics, metasurfaces, and photonics, with notable contributions to flat optics and structured light manipulation.
