Zhiming Kuang is a Professor of Atmospheric and Environmental Science and of Applied Mathematics at Harvard University, affiliated with the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research interests include applied mathematics, modeling, and environmental science and engineering, with a focus on climate change, climate dynamics, meteorology, and related fields. Kuang is also a Faculty Associate at the Harvard University Center for the Environment. His work explores convective forces driving El Niño and the South Asian monsoons.
