Michael W. Toffel

Michael W. Toffel is the Senator John Heinz Professor of Environmental Management at Harvard Business School. His research focuses on how companies address climate change and other environmental and working condition issues in their operations and supply chains. He co-founded and hosts the HBS Climate Rising podcast, and co-created the HBS Working Conditions in Supply Chains microsite. He serves as Faculty Chair of the HBS Business and Environment Initiative, co-chairs Harvard's Presidential Committee on Sustainability, and leads the Climate Change Deep Dive for the Advanced Leadership Initiative. He teaches in the MBA and Executive Education programs and co-leads the HBS Online Business and Climate Change course.
