Dr Paweł Gola is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics at The University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on Applied Theory, Labour Market Sorting, and Behavioural Economics. Prior to joining Edinburgh in 2021, he was an Assistant Professor at the BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo and the Mead Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and obtained his PhD from the University of Oxford. His current research interests include Labour Market Sorting, Relative Concerns, Wage and Welfare Inequality.
