Regular biography
Dr Sean Brocklebank is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Quality Assurance in the School of Economics at The University of Edinburgh. His research interests include Behavioural Economics, Development Economics, Econometrics, and Macroeconomics. He is heavily involved in the teaching of years 1 & 2 of the economics undergraduate curriculum and has received various awards for his teaching. Sean also runs the undergraduate reading group and has organised student trips to developing countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. His academic background includes an MSc and PhD in economics from the University of Edinburgh, with bachelor studies completed at the University of Toronto.
