Parvez Alam

Dr Parvez Alam is a Reader in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Edinburgh, UK. His research focuses on mechanical engineering, with specific interests in biomimetic design, mechanical metamaterials, comparative biomechanics, and composites engineering. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Royal Society of Biology, and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
