Dr Ngozi Joe-Ikechebelu (she/her) is a first-generation Nigerian settler health researcher. She is a CIHR Pan-Canadian Network for HIV and STBBI Clinical Trials Research (CTN+) Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Northern British Columbia's School of Health Sciences. Dr Ngozi Joe-Ikechebelu consistently offers visionary insights and service in her assigned roles and responsibilities. She aims to strengthen her team's ability to excel in research, teaching, and learning. Her work is influenced by her involvement in community and healthcare roles in Nigeria and by her extensive experience with marginalised communities in British Columbia. In Nigeria, she leads the Collaboration and Linkages at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, Anambra State, and is a Professor of Community Medicine/Primary Health Care at the same university and its Teaching Hospital in Amaku-Awka. She was a member of the Research Management Office for over a year. Additionally, she participates in the Economic Think-Tank and Advisory Committee, which focuses on advancing key economic and investment projects; the Institutional Reputation and Ranking Committee; the Academic Staff Visibility and Appraisal Review Committee; and the interuniversity Consortium Africa for her Nigerian university.
