Lawrence Kreicher is an Associate Professor of the Practice of Economics in the Department of Economics at Duke University. He joined the Department in 2018 and previously taught at Dartmouth College, where he focused on financial theory, financial institutions & markets, international finance, and global macroeconomics. Kreicher was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Bank for International Settlements from 2011 to 2019, focusing on US financial regulation and fixed income derivatives. He has also held academic positions at New York University, Baruch College, and Pace University. Kreicher began his career as a professor at the University of Florida. His research interests include financial regulation, international finance, and monetary policy.
