Laura Castillo Martinez is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Duke University, affiliated with the Department of Economics in the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. Her research focuses on central banks and inflation control, as evidenced by her publication titled 'How Do Central Banks Control Inflation? A Guide for the Perplexed,' published in the Journal of Economic Literature. She also leads the collaborative research project 'The Anatomy of Firm Exit: Theory and Facts,' funded by the National Science Foundation.
