Dr. Augustyn’s current research is focused on: 1) establishing evidence-based resources for preventing child sexual abuse perpetration; 2) identifying effective solutions for engaging at-risk populations in research and programming; and 3) understanding societal attitudes and stigma towards individuals with atypical sexual interests. As an educator, Dr. Augustyn invites students to think critically about complex and controversial issues like sexual offending.
