Peter R. Herman is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. He received his B.Eng. degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University in 1980 and later earned MASc and PhD degrees from the University of Toronto's Physics Department, focusing on lasers and diatomic spectroscopy.
