I am a Research Climatologist with the B.C. Ministry of Forests, specializing in hydro-climatology. My work centres on understanding extreme climate events and climate change, particularly how large-scale climate variability influences surface conditions. This includes investigating phenomena such as atmospheric rivers and heatwaves, and the underlying mechanisms that drive them. Previously, I conducted postdoctoral research with Canada Wildfire (Natural Resources Canada & University of Alberta) and the University of Northern British Columbia. I am proficient in R, RShiny and QGIS for large and hydroclimate and geospatial data analysis and interactive applications.
