Anna Krasotkina

Dr. Krasotkina’s core research interest is to reach a deeper understanding of how infants process two crucial socially-relevant stimuli: faces and speech. Her main focus is on researching perceptual narrowing, a process that occurs in the second half of the first year of life, when the perceptual system is calibrated to better perceive stimuli that are more common in the infant’s environment, while losing efficiency in perceiving stimuli the infant rarely encounters.
