Eswar Prasad

Eswar Prasad is the Nandlal P. Tolani Senior Professor of International Trade Policy at Cornell University's Department of Economics. His research focuses on international capital flows, financial development and reforms in emerging markets, monetary policy frameworks for emerging markets, and economies of China and India. He has initiated a major research and conference program on Financial Sector Regulation and Reforms in Emerging Markets, with funding from the Asian Development Bank, IMF, and other sponsors. He has contributed op-ed articles to various newspapers and testified before U.S. congressional committees.
