Regular biography
Matthew T. Reiter is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University. His research interests include structural engineering, structural steel, masonry, structural mechanics and materials, and engineering management. Reiter has extensive experience in structural design and management, including work with Cornell’s Facilities Engineering Department and project consultant roles with Thornton Tomasetti. He holds a Master of Civil Engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Engineering Management from Cornell University. Reiter joined the CEE Faculty in July 2021.
