Keenan Crane is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on Graphics, with an emphasis on developing fundamental algorithms for working with real-world geometric data. Crane's work draws on insights from differential geometry and computer science. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his PhD from the California Institute of Technology. His most recent work was supported by an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship at Columbia University.
