Prof ZHAO, Ni 趙鈮

Prof ZHAO, Ni 趙鈮 is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She holds the title of Professor and serves as Department Vice-Chair (Graduate). Prof ZHAO obtained her B.Eng. from Tsinghua University, M.S. from McMaster University, and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include optoelectronic, electronic, and electrochemical devices based on organic and nanostructured materials, as well as sensors and biomedical devices. She also focuses on spectroscopic characterizations of physical processes in nanostructured thin films, structures, and devices.

Ni Zhao is a researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on advanced materials and nanotechnology. Their work explores quantum dots, perovskites, and flexible sensors for health informatics and energy applications. Key areas include energy level modification in quantum dot thin films, passivation of perovskites for high-efficiency photovoltaics, and development of flexible piezoelectric and piezoresistive sensors for biomedical monitoring. Zhao's research also addresses interfacial engineering, such as MoO3 interfacial layers in quantum dot solar cells, and explores materials like nitrogen-doped carbon foams for supercapacitors.
