Prof BLU, Thierry is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He holds a MSc from École Polytechnique (France) in 1986 and a MEng from Télécom Paris (France) in 1988, followed by a PhD from Télécom Paris in 1996. His research interests include image processing, multiresolution and approximation theory, sparse representations, with applications in biomedical imaging such as MRI, fMRI, Computed Tomography, Fluorescence Microscopy, OCT, and EEG.
