Scholar-generated biography

Thierry Blu is a researcher specializing in digital signal processing, with a focus on signal reconstruction, interpolation, and denoising techniques. His work includes the development of advanced methods for signal sampling, such as sparse sampling of signal innovations and the application of fractional splines and wavelets. He has contributed to the field of image denoising through approaches like the SURE-LET method and interscale orthonormal wavelet thresholding. His research also extends to real-time imaging systems, such as terahertz imaging with single-pixel detectors, and the analysis of approximation techniques for signal processing. His publications highlight a strong emphasis on mathematical foundations and practical applications in signal and image processing.
