Regular biography
Bandalang Studio is an Indigenous Engineering Design Studio located within the School of Engineering at The Australian National University. It serves as a meeting place and support base for Indigenous students, staff, and collaborators, fostering transdisciplinary collaborations and embedding Indigenous science and technologies into core engineering modules. The studio drives programs such as the Bandalang Residencies and the National Indigenous Engineering Autumn School, which support Indigenous practitioners and high school students. Bandalang Studio is situated on Ngunnawal and Ngambri land, with the name 'Bandalang' derived from Wiradyuri language meaning 'joining' or 'junction'.
