Prof. Dr.-Ing. Burkhard Pinnekamp

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Burkhard Pinnekamp is an Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Munich, School of Engineering and Design, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on high-performance gearboxes for industrial applications. Pinnekamp studied Mechanical Engineering at TU Munich from 1982 to 1987 and earned his Dr.-Ing. degree in 1992. He worked as a chief engineer at TU Munich's chair for machine elements and later held various leading positions at RENK GmbH, including Head of Central Technology. He has been a visiting lecturer at TU Munich since 2012 and became an Honorary Professor in 2024.
