Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Nikolaus Bauer

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Nikolaus Bauer is an Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Munich, School of Engineering and Design, specializing in Logistics in the Automotive Industry. He studied mechanical engineering at TUM from 1979 to 1985 and began his career at BMW AG in Munich, where he held various positions in planning and production technology. He later led departments at BMW's Leipzig plant, including Logistics and IT, and eventually became head of production engineering for engines and chassis. Bauer has also led the BMW Motorcycles product line since 2012. His career includes notable achievements such as the EFQM Award (2006) and the European Plant of the Year award (2008).
