Prof. Dr.-Ing. Oliver Fischer

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Oliver Fischer is a professor at the Technical University of Munich, Department of Civil Engineering. His research focuses on concrete structures, including high-performance and traditional materials, engineering models, and design questions in civil engineering, bridge and tunnel construction, and the reinforcement of load-bearing structures. He also develops numerical methods and measurement technology for concrete structures, addressing special load cases such as fire and earthquakes. Fischer has contributed to numerous publications and has been involved in research and development projects in infrastructure. He is a member of various expert panels and committees and has been teaching young engineers since 1999.
