Dr. Jayanta Ravishankar is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of power systems, renewable energy, and smart grid technologies. He is currently affiliated with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, where he holds the position of Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. His research interests span a wide range of topics, including power system stability, microgrids, energy storage systems, and the integration of renewable energy sources into modern power systems. Dr. Ravishankar has made significant contributions to the development of advanced control strategies for power systems, particularly in the areas of frequency and voltage regulation, energy management, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in power system applications.
