Ayoung Kim is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University. Her research interests include perceptual robot autonomy for navigation and spatial representation learning. She leads the Robust Perception for Mobile Robotics lab (RPM Robotics Lab) at SNU. Prior to joining SNU in 2021, she was at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Kim holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from SNU, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
