Kim, Taeyong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University. His research focuses on thermal conduction in materials, radiative cooling, ultrafast optical spectroscopy, and ultrafast electron microscopy. He leads the Nano Energy Transfer and Engineering Lab. Kim holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Caltech, and completed postdoctoral studies at UCSB. His work includes studies on thermal conductivity and electronic structure modulation in materials.
