Regular biography
Lee, Jun-Seok is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University. His research focuses on biochemistry and organic chemistry, with an emphasis on understanding drug mechanisms at the molecular level. His work integrates chemical reporter technologies with chemoproteomics to study enzyme activity, protein interactions, and biochemical changes in living systems. Lee's research aims to validate therapeutic targets and uncover new biology for the development of next-generation therapeutics. His academic career includes positions at Korea University College of Medicine and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from New York University and a B.S. in Chemistry from POSTECH.
