Regular biography
Kim, Ye-Jin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University. Her research focuses on Physical & Computational Nanochem & Nanoscience, Energy & Environ, with an emphasis on the manipulation of electrons in material engineering. She explores ultrafast electronic structural dynamics, including the real-time dynamics of correlated electrons in condensed matter under various external stimuli. Her work integrates tabletop transient extreme ultraviolet absorption/reflection spectroscopy with gas-phase attosecond high-harmonic generation. She also investigates methods to tailor charged particles in atomic layer interfaces of heterostructures and the behaviors of ionic motions in energy materials.
