J.J. Garcia-Luna-Aceves is a Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. He joined the university in 2023 as a Professor of ECE and holds the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Intelligent Digital Infrastructures. His research focuses on computer communication, including network architectures, communication protocols, distributed algorithms, digital infrastructures, and performance analysis. He has served as General Chair of numerous conferences, including IEEE MASS 2023 and ACM MobiCom 2008.
