Dr Margaret Wegener

Dr Margaret Wegener is a Senior Lecturer in Physics at The University of Queensland, School of Mathematics and Physics. She serves as Deputy Director of the SMP Teaching and Learning Committee. Dr Wegener teaches first and third-year physics courses and is involved in educational initiatives focused on contextualising physics and supporting the transition from school to university. Her research interests include physics education, the integration of science and the arts, and the development of experiments for undergraduate learning. She has contributed to numerous publications and conference proceedings, with a focus on innovative teaching methods and the application of virtual reality in physics education.
