Associate Professor Zhongwei Chen is a researcher at The University of Queensland, School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering. His research focuses on geological storage of hydrogen, mining geomechanics, reservoir geomechanics, and machine learning applications in mining and natural gas fields. His work includes interdisciplinary research on geo-energy and geo-resources, with specific interests in high-stress and high-temperature mining conditions, unconventional gas recovery, and advanced computational modeling.
