Regular biography
Dr Axel Wieneke is a Lecturer in the School of Economics at The University of Queensland. His research interests include financial innovation, bank capital regulation, and SME performance in transition economies. Dr Wieneke has contributed to various academic publications, including Economic Papers, the Economic Record, and the Journal of Comparative Economics. He has also authored book chapters and a newspaper article on educational assessment. His work explores financial regulation, international banking, and economic growth.
