Regular biography
Lisa-Mareike Ottenhaus is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. She is a leading researcher in the field of timber engineering, with a particular focus on the structural performance of timber connections, the development of sustainable timber construction practices, and the integration of timber into modern building systems. Her research has been widely published in international journals and presented at major conferences, including the World Conference on Timber Engineering (WCTE).
