Dr Jennifer Leigh Campbell is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering at The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on environmental engineering, with an emphasis on Nature-Based Solutions and blue-green infrastructure. Dr Campbell is committed to enriching STEM education through the integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, particularly in community-led infrastructure projects. She has received recognition for her innovative teaching methods, including the 2022 Queensland Women in STEM Breaking Barriers Award and a 2023 Australian Award for University Teaching citation. Her work includes co-founding the Kungullanji Indigenous Research Program at Griffith University and promoting project-based learning and undergraduate research opportunities for Indigenous students.
