Marta Zlatic

Marta Zlatic is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences and the Department of Zoology. Her research focuses on systems neuroscience, investigating the circuit mechanisms of behaviour, learning and memory, decision-making, and connectomics. She employs techniques such as optogenetics, functional imaging of neural activity, learning and memory tasks, electron microscopy for circuit reconstruction, and patch-clamp recordings. Her work aims to uncover the fundamental principles by which neural circuits perform essential computations.
