Regular biography
Wei Pan is a Senior Lecturer in Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science, The University of Manchester. His research focuses on robot control using Bayesian machine learning and the principles of dynamic control. Prior to joining Manchester, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Cognitive Robotics, TU Delft, Netherlands, and a Project Leader at DJI, China. He holds a PhD degree from Imperial College London. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 3, 7, and 9.
