Sami Kaski is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at The University of Manchester, Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, particularly in areas such as reinforcement learning, robotics, and visual analytics. He is also involved in interdisciplinary projects that integrate AI with biology and synthetic genomics. Kaski has received numerous awards, including the European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant in 2025 and the Academy Professor title in 2001.
