Lau, Kwok Fai 劉國輝 Molecular neuroscience

Professor Lau, Kwok Fai is a Professor in the Department of Biology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on molecular neuroscience, particularly the study of amyloid precursor protein and its interacting proteins in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders. He has published extensively on topics such as FE65-mediated autophagy, APP processing, and neurite outgrowth. Professor Lau holds several leadership roles, including Associate Programme Director for the Biochemistry Programme and the M.Sc. Programme in Biochemical and Biomedical Sciences. His work has been featured in prominent journals such as Biology, Biochem Soc Trans, and FASEB J.
