Professor Bobby Acharya

Professor Bobby Acharya is a Professor in the Physics Department at King’s College London. He was awarded a PhD in String Theory in 1998 from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London and became a research council personal fellow at the same institution from 1997-2000. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the New High Energy Theory Center, Rutgers University, NJ, USA and became a staff member at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy in 2004. His research interests include physics with the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, high energy particle physics and cosmology, and the phenomenological consequences of string/M theory.
