Jake Ansell is a Professor at The University of Edinburgh Business School, where he is affiliated with the Business department. His research interests include economic statistics and indices, reliability, strategic asset management, risk management and assessment, credit scoring, well-being (financial and health), risk governance, and tourism, particularly its quantitative aspects. He has previously taught Statistics, Operational Research, and Management Science at various universities and has served as a consultant in statistics. His work includes research on financial education and its positive impact.
