John Amis

John Amis is a Chair in Strategic Management and Organisation at the University of Edinburgh Business School. He joined the institution in July 2013 and has held several senior administrative roles, including Co-Director of the Centre for Strategic Leadership and Head of the Strategy Group. His research interests focus on organisational, institutional, and social change, with a particular emphasis on issues of social and economic inequality. Amis has published extensively in top-tier journals and has been involved in numerous research projects, including studies on migration, homelessness, and childhood obesity.
