Regular biography
Daniel Norbert Congreve is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. His research interests focus on controlling nanoscale materials for energy, sustainability, and manufacturing applications. Prior to joining Stanford in 2020, he completed his B.S. and M.S. at Iowa State University and earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, where he studied under Marc Baldo. He has held postdoctoral and fellow positions at MIT and the Rowland Institute. His current work explores photonic energy conversion and materials for sustainable technologies. He teaches courses in photonics, modern optics, and solar energy conversion.
