Regular biography
Min Tang is a faculty member at the College of Artificial Intelligence, Zhejiang University, China. He joined the college on January 1, 2026, following a long-standing affiliation with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University in 1994, 1996, and 1999, respectively. He has held visiting scholar positions at Wichita State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include solid modeling, collision detection, cloth simulation, and GPU-based computational acceleration. He has published over 180 papers, including more than 80 SCI-indexed articles, in leading conferences and journals such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, and ACM Transactions on Graphics.
