Sue Jones is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. Her research focuses on glutamatergic synapses onto dopamine neurons, particularly the regulation of NMDA glutamate receptors and the balance between physiological and pathological NMDA receptor activity. Her research areas include neurobiology, neurophysiology, neuronal plasticity, cellular physiology, and synaptic physiology. She utilizes techniques such as electrophysiology, patch clamp, and brain slices in her studies.
