Chen Wei

Wei Chen is a professor in the State Key Lab of CAD&CG at Zhejiang University, affiliated with the College of Computer Science. His research interests include visualization, visual analytics, and bio-medical image computing. He received his Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University in 1996 and 2002, respectively. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Fraunhofer Institute for Graphics, Germany, from 2000 to 2002, and later joined Zhejiang University. He was promoted to full professor in December 2009. His work has been published in over 110 IEEE/ACM Transactions and CCF-A papers, and he has authored several Chinese books on visualization. He has served in various editorial and program committee roles for leading conferences and journals.
