LE Duc Project

LE Duc Project is an Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo, Department of CE. His research focuses on data assimilation and numerical weather prediction. He holds a PhD in Meteorology from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and previously served as deputy manager of numerical weather prediction at the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting in Vietnam. From 2011 to 2020, he was a researcher at Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology. Since 2021, he has been an assistant professor at The University of Tokyo, while also maintaining a visiting researcher role at the Japan Meteorological Agency Meteorological Research Institute. His work includes projects related to large ensemble atmospheric and environmental prediction for disaster prevention.
