ICHIMURA Tsuyoshi

Tsuyoshi Ichimura is a Professor at the Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo, within the Department of Civil Engineering. His research focuses on urban and social simulation, computational science, computational earthquake engineering, and the convergence of artificial intelligence with physics-based simulation. His work involves developing computational methods for large-scale simulations of seismic events and integrating socio-economic factors into disaster modeling. He leads the Computational Science and High Performance Computing Laboratory, collaborating with international institutions and leveraging high-performance computing systems to advance earthquake engineering and computational science.
