HONDA Riki

Riki Honda is a Professor at The University of Tokyo, Department of CE. His research interests include Disaster resilience, Earthquake engineering, Infrastructure Digital Transformation, and Uncertainty Management. He has contributed to studies on earthquake engineering for "anti-catastrophe" property of infrastructure systems, information-based maintenance strategies, and social network analysis of collective behavior in communities. His work includes publications on lessons from the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake and synthesis of representative wave motions for seismic analysis. Honda has advised numerous graduate and undergraduate theses on topics ranging from network dynamics to disaster response strategies.
