Dr Atefeh Zamani is a lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of New South Wales. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics (Probability Theory) from Shiraz University, Iran, and a Master of Data Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests include time series analysis, functional data analysis, and data science. Since 2022, she has been affiliated with UNSW, where she teaches courses such as Time Series and Multivariate Analysis. Her work has been published in several journals, including Physica A, Australian and New Zealand Journal of Statistics, and Journal of Time Series Analysis.
