Professor Christopher Tisdell is a Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at The University of New South Wales, School of Mathematics & Statistics. His research interests include mathematics education, STEM learning, and the application of mathematics to real-world problems. He is known for leading Australia’s earliest YouTube channel dedicated to mathematics, which has positively impacted millions of learners globally. As Associate Dean (Education) at UNSW, he focused on enhancing the student experience across numerous courses and programs. He has also contributed to national and international education initiatives, including research grants and collaborations with institutions such as the Australian Maths Society and the University of Hong Kong.
